On the iPad there are seriously wicked sound effects and even vibrations as well as ball travels. This is definitely the game to show off your iPad and it makes you feel as if you were inside the game, as you were the ball, rolling around the obstacles.

If you like easy controls and cops catching you while racing- this is for you.
Arcade racing is fun but with Asphalt 4 it is totally out of this world. There are loads of cars including Bugatti Veyron’s and Lamborghini Reventon’s. There is a WGC racing course 2009 which is like a world tour and also Instant play with hundreds of tracks.

It’s been said time and time again that the simplest ideas are the best. For a format like the iPad and its portable ways, it’s likely to be these types of games that manage to capture people’s imaginations. After all, if you’re on a train you don’t want to be forced into an hour- long cutscene before even getting properly involved.

For all engineering and puzzle lovers, this is a dream come true…
Once again we find ourselves with a very simple puzzle game making its way onto the iPad. With each scenario presenting two gears on-screen, all that is required, is to link up the different sized wheels/cogs you have in your inventory to get the yellow mechanism turning.

This wicked app/utility lets you see how much an item costs or if it is legal or not. You can either type in a product name, barcode number or you can just scan the object (if you have an iPhone or the new iPad). But, unfortunately sometimes it can be a little slow.

There are 12 cities to race through, and 33 vehicles. This has the best graphics on the iPad. The physics are simple and basic, however the AI is relentless. The true driving skill is needed. I could go on if I wanted to.
